A Mexican Bulldog – no its not a cute puppy in a sombrero. It’s the answer to your happy 5th of May celebration.

Sometimes referred to as a Margarona, or a Coronarita, this magical concoction blends the most famous Mexican beer with the most famous Mexican cocktail. A match made in cielo.

Serves 4

  • 1 orange

  • 5 limes

  • 1 cup of tequila

  • 1/2 cup Grand Marnier

  • 1 cup simple syrup

  • 5 cups of ice

  • margarita salt (garnish)

  • 4 bottles of Coronitas

  • lime slices (garnish)

Juice the orange and limes into a mixing bowl. Add tequila, Grand Marnier, and simple syrup and mix. Add a heaping cup of ice into a blender. Add just enough of the margarita mix to not quite cover the ice. Blend. Continue to add ice until desired consistency is achieved. Salt the rim of your margarita glasses, if desired. Pour in frozen margaritas, and put the Coronitas upside down submerging them in the mixture. Add lime wedge for garnish.

¡Then raise a glass to Cinco de Mayo and Enjoy!
